What is Lunch??

Coming out of the Food Co-op (next to the Street Theatre on Childers St) on Wednesday lunchtimes, we are serving affordable ($4 for students and Co-Op members and $5 for non-students/members), sustainable and nutritious meals.

Lunch is a partnership between Real Food Canberra and ANU students. Ross Jones, now travelling, and Kai Kamada-Laws were instrumental in getting Lunches up and running. Big thank you!

Lunch is incredibly important to us – we are really keen to make sure that real food is available to everyone. The running of the lunches is dependant on volunteers, so it would be great if you could help out. We are also looking for people who have a real passion to step up and take on a role as an organiser of some weekly lunches. By doing so, you can help ensure that Lunch at the Food Coop is available for everyone into the future. All ingredients are as sustainable as possible – coming from Choku Bai Jo, the Food Co-Op, local farms and even peoples’ gardens!

When: Wednesday 12-1pm
Where: Food Co-op on Childers St (next to the Street Theatre)
What: Affordable, sustainable and nutritious food.
How much: $4 for students/Co-op members; $5 for non-students/non-members
